CZ: Když už jsem oprašoval přední obal Vangelisova soundtracku k filmu Blade Runner z roku 1982, dal jsem si práci s celou malbou Johna Alvina, která tvoří základ i jednoho z nejpamětihodnějších filmových plakátů vůbec. Jde o nejméně oříznutou, nejméně zašuměnou a nejméně rozmazanou verzi, jakou jde na internetu najít.
EN: While restoring album art of Vangelis' soundtrack for 1982 movie Blade Runner, I restored the whole John Alvin's art that also serves as a basis for one of the most memorable movie posters ever. I present you the least cropped, least noisy and least blurry version you can find online.

CZ: „Ťuknutý“ steelbook? Zakryjte vady ochrannými prvky vytištěnými na 3D tiskárně. Při návrhu byly vzaty v potaz všechna omezení 3D tisku. Mohou sloužit i jako stojan. Správné rozměry i nenarušení funkčnosti steelbooku byly ověřeny testem v reálném světě. Můžete použít jen dolní stojánkovou část a hořejšek nechat holý, nebo použít horní ochranné prvky jak na horní, tak dolní část steelbooku. Pro připevnění vytištěných částí doporučuji použít kontaktní lepidlo na bázi chemoprenu.
EN: Dented steelbook? Hide the damage under 3D printed "bumpers" that also work as a stand. It was designed with 3D printing limits in mind. Precise dimensions and preserved functionality of the steelbook were verified in real-world tests. You can use just the bottom "bumper stands" and leave the top bare or use the upper "bumpers" for both top and bottom. I recommend sticking the printed parts to the steelbook by using contact adhesive.

Nejspíš je problém v tom, že ta inkriminovaná sluchátka vyrobil Koss a ne Sony...

Screenshot zachycuje tři ostudné problémy Windows 10: 1) V tabletovém módu by se aplikace měly chovat jako dotykové panely přes celou šířku obrazovky, nikoliv jako překrývající se okna. Pravá strana ale zobrazuje kaskádově naskládaná okna. 2) Vlevo nahoře se při použití multimediálních kláves na klávesnici objevují multimediální symboly z Windows 8. Srovnejte je se symboly pro Windows 10 v aplikaci Groove Music níže. 3) Systém je nastaven na angličtinu, ale v Centru akcí napravo se objevuje i čeština.

CZ: Alex Dowis v ČSMT podruhé prezentoval tzv. Light Art. Kresba mu ale před dokončením kapku vybledla, tak jsem mu jí zrekonstruoval. :-)

Že Abraham Lincoln trpěl depresemi, to je známé. O schizofrenii ale nic nevím... Kniha se navíc jmenuje "Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln" (u nás nevyšla). Autorka a schvalovatel "zajímavosti" zřejmě trpí demencí. P.S.: 3x jsem na tuhle bizarnost upozorňoval. Moje POMOc ale vyšla vniveč.

CZ: Nokia zveřejnila video, které má vzbudit dojem, že je natočeno telefonem Lumia 920 s technologií PureView z dalšího jedoucího jízdního kola. V červeném kruhu lze ale zřetelně vidět odlesk dodávky s otevřenými posuvnými dveřmi na boku auta, ve kterých stojí kameraman s klasickou ruční kamerou... P.S.: Nejde o můj objev. Píše se o něm v diskusi pod videem. Nokia se později omluvila a upravila popisek videa.

In the red circle, you can clearly see a reflection of a van with side door opened and a camera-guy holding a handheld camera... P.S.: This is not my finding. I read about it in comments under the video. Nokia later excused for the mystification and changed the video description.

I've got a crush on new set of speakers, Krator Neso 02 N2-20050. On this occasion, I made this "reflective" picture. Bye bye, cheap 7.1 surround speakers, listening to music requires high-quality stereo!

The first moment I've noticed that Winona Ryder, which I admire a lot for her amazing big... eyes :-), is actually aging like all of us. But there's still something strange about this almost forty-years-old actress.
